Painting and visual art of music and movie icons of the "70s"

Biography

I was born in 1972 in Casalpusterlengo (Lodi), where I live. Always sensitive to visual arts, I began my journey with drawing in my childhood. Growing up, I became passionate about photography (black and white portraits) and I participated, with some success, in local events and exhibitions. I have been working for about 30 years in Milan close to the Brera Academy and, in my spare time, I have the chance to pursue my interests: photography and painting.

The subjects of my paintings are often music and movie icons of the “70s”. Strongly influenced by pop art, I propose my own personal version. Through colors and shadows, I convey my interpretation of the subjects highlighting details with the aim of enhancing their expressiveness. After all, I, you and everyone else were brought into the world with an image that defines us. Living consciously in the present by valuing emotions, whether positive or negative, is the message I propose with my work.
